More Pumpkin Fun!

Tonight we had a Fall Sunday School Social and met at a pumpkin patch. All the kids picked out pumpkins and we headed back to one of our friends house for Chilis and soups. The kids had a ball playing outside and we ended the night with a marshmallow roast!

Then Monday night we met up the street and decorated the pumpkins we picked on Sunday. While some carved Chloe wanted to paint hers. Mom decided to make a batman jack-o-lantern...didn't turn out too bad!

Cheerleading Fun

One of our friends is the high school cheerleading sponsor and they were having a cheer clinic fund raiser so Chloe spent part of a Saturday morning at cheer camp :) Absolutely not wanting to push cheerleading at all, just a fun time with the big girls. They learned a few cheers and a dance. They performed at half time for one of the the JV games...what big stuff! Nawna and Papa came to watch so that made her day :)

Pumpkin Surprise!

Today Chloe and Hayden woke up to a special surprise! Their Mimi and Bopaw were here and ready to go to the Arboretum for the Pumpkin Patch. We all got our orange shirts on and headed out the door. There were pumpkins everywhere, a petting zoo, beautiful flowers and hay mazes. We ended the day with a picnic and a sucker...does it get any better?

Gone Fishin'

We decided Friday that it was time for a mini-getaway! We headed to the camper at Lake Fork for some camping and fishing. The kids were thrilled! We had a pajama party, ate popcorn and watched a spooky movie :), got up and went fishing (actually catching!) and had a ball! Let's just say Daddy was beaming with pride over Hayden's first catch. He's hooked!
Hayden had more fun digging in the worms!

Girls can fish too!!!!!

Political Revelation :)

Those of you who know my political views might find this humorous!

My precious daughter was coloring and singing to herself while her daddy and I watched the vp debate. She was very uninterested and very disappointed we weren't watching a "kid movie". When it was over she asked a few questions and I tried to explain the election process very simply to my 4 yr old. Her response...I think I'm voting for Obama...fingernails...chalkboard...
