Today was the Awards Assembly at Chloe's School. She was very excited. All she wanted was the Citizenship award. Every day when I drop her off at school I remind her, "I Love you" and "Be a good friend". She has the sweetest heart, not always perfect by any means and a little less at home ;), but she cares about others and I am proud of her for that. When they called her name, she got a Six Flags Reading Award...and Citizenship for her class!! Yippee, she was so excited. Mrs. Sikes got up to give one more award. It was the Principal's Award for 1st Grade. Each teacher nominates a student from their class and the principal chooses one person. She called Chloe up and began reading a letter that Mrs. Sanders wrote about her. So sweet and so special. She talked about how she is always helpful in the classroom, and if anyone needs a snack or supply, she is quick to offer hers. She even mentioned how Chloe is the first one at the door to check on her or ask about her kids if she was out the day before. I am so proud of her! I pray for her in all areas, but I hope she's always this sweet :)

Hayden likes Tball, he likes everything but standing out in the outfield...lets face it...VERY FEW balls make it out there! The dirt is just too tempting. Tonight, he asked Coach Jeff if he could be pitcher and he said "next time". Well, after we hit, it was time to take the outfield when Coach told Hayden to get in the pitchers ring!! Hayden ran like a flash and was beaming. Mommy was panicked, because you have to pay attention if you're the pitcher! Guess what?? He did! He did great!! He looked like a real ball player. However, for some reason he thought the pitcher couldn't step out of the circle, he came to a screaching hault at the edge :) After the Game, he even got the Game Ball and Mimi, Bopaw and Bobba were there to see it all. Best Day Ever!!!

Tonight was Hayden's Preschool Program! So cute! Mrs. Terrie's class was all ready to gradutate. We didn't take too many pics because Hayden will actually graduate next year, but he looked so handsome in his cap and gown :) His class did "Pete the Cat", which was absolutely adorable!

I just love Mother's Day! It's a reminder of how long I waited to be one and the blessings God gave me when he knew the time was right :) I Love, Love, Love being a Mommy! Tiring at times? Absolutely! But worth every minute. Thank you God for letting me be a mommy.
