B-lizzard!

Oh my goodness!!!! Let's just say when I told Chloe yesterday that the weatherman said it might snow, her response was, "yea...right". I had to say I agreed! Wow...were we wrong. It started snowing yesterday but we went to school anyway. By the time school was out, we had 4-5 inches on the ground...needless to say we had a snow day Friday and had the best time! We got 12-14 inches (not exactly sure). I have never seen anything like it and was trying to explain to the kids that they might not ever see this again in their lives either. Today was Daddy's birthday and he didn't go to work either. We played outside in the snow all day. All our friends came down and we sledded down the hill, built snowmen, had snow ice cream and came inside to find we had no power...so we packed up and headed to Papa's house for the night. We built a snowman at his house and then headed to Bobba and Pawpaws and built a snowman there too. The kids were actually a little tired of the snow by the time we came home and ready to play outside without "all the clothes". What a beautiful weekend!!

Hayden's Best Buddy

Hayden has a new best friend, someone who follows him everywhere, gets so excited to see him, takes naps with him, watches movies with him, waits patiently while he eats breakfast, plays cars with him and runs with him and "from" him from time to time. Don't tell Louie he's a cat!

Chloe's 100th Day of Kindergarten!

What a fun day! Today is the 100th Day of Kindergarten and Chloe was supposed to dress like an old person. We borrowed an old hat that was Bobba Faye's, a "walking stick" as Chloe calls it and added a little baby powder to our hair. We attempted the bun but her hair is soooooo short. She was so excited and couldn't wait to get to school. She did a project where with 100 hearts and took her 100 heart marshmallows for the group mix today.

We met our Buddy Charlie at DQ after school...flash forward about 70 years :)

David and Doliath

Hayden has been obsessed with David and Goliath lately. He wants us to read it and tell it over and over. Craig tells him the story every night. This morning, we were walking out the door and he was talking about how Uncle Keith and Papa had helped with our laundry room. He said "mama, Uncle Keith is like Doliath!" I couldn't hold it in - Chloe and I laughed and laughed. Shout out to Uncle Keith!
