Chloe's 7!

Chloe couldn't decide where she wanted her party this year...lots of places to choose from that were too girlie for Charlie and Carson! She loves to go to the park and begged to have a playdate there for her party. Mommy couldn't argue with that, no setup or cleanup!! The weather turned out perfect and all our friends and family came for a great playday! She couldn't have been more happy :)

Happy Halloweeeeeeeeeeeen!

Nothing can be said at this house this month without it being creeeeeeeeeepy. Hayden loves loves loves Halloween and everything about it! Ghosts, vampires, pumpkins, you name it and he gets soooooo excited. Chloe on the other hand, is scared to death of all of it. So, as you can imagine, it presents quite the challenge as Hayden is hiding behind every door every chance he gets to scare her! Lots of drama! But...everyone gets into our festival and trick-or-treating and we had lots of chances to wear our costumes this year. School festivals, church festivals...sooo much fun! Chloe wanted to be a cat and Hayden, well he was a ghost and superman, just couldn't decide :)

We had our traditional Halloween picture and snacks at our house and off to trick-or-treat and see Elvis.

Wedding Bells

Chloe and Hayden got to be Tonya's Flower Girl and Ring Bearer. They were so super excited, Hayden especially because it was a "cowboy" wedding or so he called it because he got to wear his boots and hat. He begged to wear his holster and gun set, but we promised he could put it on after. They did a super job and it was a beautiful location and sweet wedding.

As you can see...Hayden became less enthused towards the end!

Soccer Take 2

Wow! Soccer is much different this year. Hayden went from mostly playing in the dirt and getting lucky goals a few times to all out crazy man! He ran straight out and scored a goal the first game, and had 3 more by the time the game was over. He was so proud of himself and he wanted to make sure Chloe knew he had scored 4 goals. Mama was very proud :)
He had a much better time playing this year and really got into the game. Sometimes a little too much. His team was the Pirates and he was very proud of his trophy at the last game.

Your Carriage Awaits...

Chloe's school had their pumpking decorating contest again and we decided to make Cinderella's carriage...sounded easier than it was and waiting til the last minute didn't make it any easier, but we overcame the challenge and it turned out pretty cute!

Trinity Time!

Uncle Keith and Aunt Audra had to go out of town, so we got to keep Trinity for 3 days. We were all super excited! She did great and they had the best time until bedtime...she wouldn't sleep in Chloe's room, she wanted to sleep with Aunt B! We did lots of fun things, we got new glow-in-the-dark skeleton jammies and went to the Arboretum to the pumpkin patch. Mommy had a kidney stone to make things more interesting, so Mimi came to help out. Even still, we had the best time!

State Fair!

We had soooo much fun at the fair this year. We picked Chloe up from school and headed to meet Mimi and Bopaw. It was beautiful outside, not too hot, not too cold, just perfect fair weather. We rode a few rides, Chloe my cautious one and Hayden,...well...not so much! We went to the petting zoo where we saw a 2 day old baby zebra and got to feed lots of baby animals. Again, Hayden holding his hand right out there...and Chloe, only with a scoop! We got some yummy food and found a table on the parade route. Today was Bopaw's birthday so we had funnel cakes instead of bday cake...nobody complained. We didn't get many pics b/c the batteries died but we rode one more ride and headed for home. Perfect Day all around :)

Wacky Tacky Day

For Red Ribbon week, the kids dress up every day. Today was Drugs are Wacky, let's dress Tacky! So, Chloe put on lots of mismatched clothes, I thought she still looked pretting stinkin' cute... a little like Punky Brewster, but all the same no uniforms = a great day!

Donuts with Daddy

Today Daddy got to have 2 boys! Mr Chris was out of town, so Daddy took Hayden and Ross to Donuts with Daddy at preschool and you would think it was Christmas Day! Anything out of the ordinary is exciting, riding in someone else's car or taking someone in our car...the best!

Meet the Teacher and First Day of Friendship School

As soon as we dropped Chloe off at school Hayden was ready to go to Friendship school...jammies and all. My alarm failed to go off this am so it was a whirlwind from the get-go! He had his new backpack and napmat in hand and couldn't get there fast enough!! It was a super duper day!!

Hayden couldn't wait to get to church tonight for meet the teacher. We have Mrs. Terrie this year and couldn't be more thrilled! They have a new centers room and lots of fun things planned. As soon as Mrs. Terri saw Hayden and Ross in action, she asked if they might need to sit at separate ends of the table! They "wuv" each other so much!

Fun at the Lake!

What a super fantastic day! Our best buddies from Alabama came home for a visit :) We all headed to the lake to play. We rode the boat, went tubing, swam in the lake and got as many hugs as possible before we had to say goodbye again.

Today Hayden and I built forts out of his blocks so his army men could really battle it out. We had bombs, tanks, bullets flying everywhere in that playroom! When I asked him who was fighting who he said, "those texas people....and those combine people!" Maybe we need to work on Geography tomorrow :)

1st Grade :)

Wow! I feel like I just posted Kindergarten pics yesterday...that's what the Sr. mom's tell me also :( It just goes by so fast. It was a bit easier this year but still hard to watch her growing up so super fast! She was very excited. We had our traditional book last night "The Night Before First Grade" and I gave her her backpack and lunchbox which was a hit :) She went right to bed but was up about 6:15 this am. I was going to wake her at 6:45. She was ready to go. I had her requested breakfast of blueberry mufffins and eggs made. I decorated the table last night and had her "1st grade rocks" necklace beside her plate. We had a slight hair roller malfunction but we still made it one time! She walked right in, wasn't even going to hug us bye...what is this 6th grade?? We made her march right back out and give some hugs. She is in Mrs. Sanders class and thrilled! Can't wait to hear all about her day!!
