Kindergarten Roundup...sniff

Oh my goodness. I cannot believe it is time for this. Everyone says, well, he had an extra year, you should be ready. Well, HE IS ready...I could wait 5 more years...and wouldn't be. He told me to try really hard not to cry tonight and I did pretty good. It's hard to be sad when he's so excited and ready to go! All the little brother club members are starting this year too...poor teachers!

Hayden is back on the Rangers and loving it! He is all over the place this year and can't get enough. Playing catcher this week was just the icing on the cake. He said he's just like "Manapoli"

Baseball Fever!

I don't know what's happened this year...but it's in full force! Chloe is on a boy's baseball team and she is serious business. She said one of the boys told her she was weak...so she's set to prove otherwise...and this week she did! She got 2 really good hits and has asked to practice several times. She's come so far since last year. She's even gotten hit several times and no tears. She's out to set the record straight...

RIP Flashy

Oh my....what a hard lesson we all learned today. Our sweet kitty Flash was not feeling well and he passed away to pet heaven tonight. It was a sad, sad day and we all cried. Hayden's words..."My heart is breaking mommy". That was his cat, his buddy and it hurt his heart so badly. We decided to bury him in the backyard in the corner where he always jumped the fence to go on his many adventures. We're going to miss him for sure, but we sure enjoyed him while he was ours.
