Fun With Friends

We have had so many chances to play with our friends this summer. We have had 1 day where we've actually stayed home all day. With Chloe starting Kindergarten in a few weeks I feel like I have to cram everything in! We have been swimming LOTS and LOTS. We took some special friends to Mimi's beach last week and had so much fun swimming and showing off our Mimi. We had hotdogs at the pool, built sandcastles on the beach, swam in the lake, stopped off for honeybuns at Bobbas!,went back to Mimi's for a bath and a snack and headed home. We stopped for Yummy Jerry's pizza on the way home. What a perfect ending for a perfect day!

Play Tickle Daddy!!

Oh one of the sweetest most enjoyable sounds is coming from our playroom...yes, it's almost 10:00 and yes our kids should be in bed, but we are enjoying a late summer night while we still can, enjoying them begging to play tickle, while they still will and with Chloe starting Kindergarten in a few weeks I am finding myself increasingle more weapy and sentimental about the smallest things. They are squealing with delight and begging for more!

Happy 3rd!

We had his party on Thursday and he wanted a Buzz Lightyear party this year so that is what he got. Since it is so blaaaaazing hot, we had the party at the spraypark and the kids had a blast. He requested a pirate ship from mom and dad and a big boy bed (which we are working on). The kids played and played in the water and then we had a most delicious toy story cake and then headed to play on the playground. All his best buddies and cousins were there. He was so excited he didn't fall asleep until 11:00!










I can't belive it but somehow my baby turned 3 yrs old!!! Time has just flown by. For his special bday dinner he requested waffles (With sprinkles), sausage and coffe...what 3 yr old doesn't want coffee? :) We went to the science place for the day.

Happy 4th of July!

Wow!! What a great weekend! We went to Aunt Rhea Lene's pool on Friday and grilled burgers. We swam and swam and swam some more! We had so much fun with Caleb and Kenzie. We spent the night at Papa's house and got up the next morning and went swimming again


After lunch and a quick nap we headed to Mimi's beach! We played on the beach all day, saw sky-divers and a boat parade. We started the beach off with Hayden getting stung by a bee!!! That did not make him very happy but it wasn't anything a few oreos couldn't make better :) We made sand castles with Carson and Cole and swam with Caleb and Kenzie and even Baby Trinity! We ended the night with an awesome fireworks show and headed home. We all slept until about 10:00 the next morning we were so worn out :)

Boomerang Express VBS!

What a great week we had at VBS! We rode the Boomerang Express through the Outback and learned about Peter. Hayden was in Mommy's class which was kind of a challenge but we really had fun. He learned his bible verse and said it on the stage for parent night. "God loved us and sent His only Son, Jesus." 1 John 4:9 His class dressed like engineers and was so cute. Heinvited his friend Will and they had so much fun together.

Chloe was in the pre-k class and learned a lot too! She learned that Jesus walked on the water and Peter did too as long as he kept his eyes on Jesus. They learned lots of new songs but Baby Shark was definitely our fav :)

Chloe is swimming like a fish! Much improved from that first year when she cried the entire hour all 5 days :) Mr. Craig had her diving off the side and going down the slide on her tummy and swimming to the other side. She can't get enough of it!
