We came home from vacation over the summer to a new friend on the front porch. He just adopted us. It was so hot outside we couldn't stand not giving him food and water...so we did and he stayed! Hayden fell in love with him and named him Flash. He's the sweetest kitten. He was a little scared at first but quickly fell in love with Hayden too. He follows the kids like a puppy. Up the playhouse, on the trampoline...wherever they go. I don't know how long he will stay but we like having him around!

It takes a Village

They say it takes a village...well the villages make it a lot easier! We took a long weekend and headed to the villages on Lake Palestine. They have putt putt, a beach and an indoor waterpark. We met Haddash there and watched the Rangers, played volleyball and swam, swam swam!!! The kids (and Mommy and Daddy) loved it.

Lets Go Rangers!!!!!

Yippee, yippee, yippee!! The Rangers are back in the playoffs, or will be after tonight! We are so excited to go and cheer them on. Hayden is sporting the Hamilton shirt, Chloe wears Kinsler and Mommy, well I'm an Elvis fan :) They are so awesome this year, and much has changed. Hayden used to be more interested in Cotton Candy and when we were leaving, but since he's a RANGER too now...his eye is on the field, waiting for a homerun! Let's Go Rangers - to the World Series again!

Small Town Fun!!

We have been counting down the days since July!! It's finally here...the best small-town fun around...The Cotton Festival...yippee :) We rode and rode and rode! We met up with lots of buddies and had the best time. Livie went with us on Sunday afternoon and we decided to get our faces painted. Of course, the girls wanted to be a princess, but Hayden...since mommy wouldn't buy him a snake, he decided to become one! Three days of non-stop fun and excitement had us all dragging on Monday morning, but we can't wait til it comes around again next year!

Last First Day of Preschool

Well...this will be our last year at Friendship School!! He is excited but informed me that he WOULD be going to Kindergarten next year...WOW! The time has flown and I am going to make every effort to take advantage of every second I have with him this year!! Silly boy didn't want me taking a lot of pics...so this is it! Ready for a great year with Mrs. Terrie!

Best Labor Day Ever!

We have had the hottest, dryest summer...we're all just sick of it. But this Labor Day Weekend, the skies parted and Glory shone down and the high on Monday was 82!!!!!! We were outside the entire day, the kids didn't even ask for a snack :) I finished staining the new playhouse (we've had since june but it's been too hot to mess with) and the kids painted the inside clubhouse. I just got them the paint and set them loose...they did great and it looks so cute! Hopefully they made a lasting memory today :)

The Night Before Preschool

Hayden is so excited! He can't wait to get back to school with all his friends. We gave him his "back to school" book and new backpack and lunchbox! Now, he's ready :)
