Christmas Blessings

Wow! What a wonderful Christmas. We have had the perfect holidays filled with laughter and fun. We had lots of Christmas parties to go to and lots of family to visit. We started off with Santa paying the early visit with our kitten. Our family tradition is a spaghetti and meatballs dinner with yummy cookies and then we watch the Grinch! Chloe made place cards and set the table to make it special. We made cookies for Santa and put out the reindeer food for Rudolph. Chloe and Hayden always get to sleep in Mommy and Daddy's room.
Santa came the next morning and brought Chloe an easel, barbie jeep, markers, splatster, boots, littlest pets and a teacher barbie. Hayden got john deere boots, tool bench, monster truck and a trash truck. They both got the pillow pets they have been begging for!

We played in the snow for a bit and enjoyed just being at home and then we headed to Mimi and Bopaws house for yummy chicken fried steak with Bobba and PawPaw! This was Bobba Fayes tradition and it's so much fun. Mimi made her delicious nut cake too! We showed off our new kitten and he did great at Mimi's

The next day we had Mimi's family at her house and played with Hanna, Andrew, Abby and Allison. We went to Santa Land when it got dark and had the best time! Mimi even let all the kids sleep on pallets in her room...you all were so tired, you were asleep pretty fast!

The next day we played at the park with our new goodies. Mimi and Bopaw got you plasma cars and scooters. After we played for a while we headed to Papas house for chicken spaghetti at Aunt Rhea Lene's and opened even more presents! We got to visit with Uncle Brian and Aunt Nichole and Uncle Keith and Aunt Audra and the kids! The next day we went to Aunt Theos to celebrate with Daddy's family.

What a wonderful holiday!!!

New Kitten

We couldn't believe it but the doorbell rang on Christmas Eve and there was a kennel with a note from Santa!! Santa said it was too cold on the sleigh for the kitten so he brought it early. Chloe and Hayden were so excited! The kitten was scared to death :) We tried out several names...but we decided on Louie. After the first night, he decided he liked us and did great on the trip to Mimi and Bopaw's! He is spoiled and loves loves loves the kids. He follows them everywhere and runs to check on them if they cry. He cuddles up to whoever is sitting down. He is the perfect kitten and we love him even though he likes to climb the Christmas tree

School Parties

We have had a week full of parties. Hayden had his school party on Thursday and they were so cute. They sang the songs they had been practicing and they did great! We had yummy snacks and a book exchange. Then we headed to Chloe's class to make Gingerbread houses. The kids had so much fun and Hayden loves to go to Chloe's school. Then at 2:30 we had her class party. We had a book exchange, craft and cupcakes. What a day!!

TOPS Basketball

Chloe started TOPS (Teaching our Pirates)to learn ball handling and dribbling skills. She is learning to do figure eights and other skills. (she likes to just roll it on the floor!) They have several performances during varsity games and even an SMU game. Not sure she's totally in love with it yet but she enjoys seeing her friends :)
