Incredible Halloween!!

Wow! What a busy week. We had festivals, class parties, pumpkin patches and bday parties! We ended the week with trick-or-treating, so let's just say...there was a sugar rush. We had so much fun with our friends this week. Mimi and Bopaw even came to trick-or-treat with us. Making more memories :)

Pumpkin Patch

We did so many fun things this fall!! We went to the pumpkin patch with all our church friends. We rode rides, hunted for pumpkins, took a hayride and jumped on the bounce houses.

Cheerleading Camp

Every year our high school cheerleaders have a mini camp for a fundraiser. Chloe spent a few hours on Saturday morning learning a few cheers and chants and then performed at half time of the JV game. She had a blast, but at this point couldn't care less about it and that's actually fine with us ;)

Tooth Fairy!

Well, it finally happened...you said at dinner last night that your tooth was wiggling and in the car on the way to school this morning out it came. You were so excited, jumping up and down!! We read the Tooth Fairy book and used the velvet pouch for our tooth. You wanted to sleep in Hayden's room so you were on a sleeping bag on the floor. We put the velvet pouch under the pillow and the next morning you found 4 shiny quarters! What a big girl!!!

I love you Halloween Piglet!

If you look in the dictionary under boy...you'll find Hayden for sure. He is all boy, rough and tumble, stinky feet, meat and potatoes kind of guy! Today though, he surprised me. While Chloe has been coloring in the lines since the time she could hold a crayon, Hayden has shown little interest. For some reason today though, he decided to join in on the art lesson. He sat for almost an hour coloring "halloween piglet". I was pretty impressed. #1 - he sat for almost an hour (and the tv wasn't part of it) #2 - he did an awesome job of staying in the lines and #3 - there was no fussing at all during this hour!!! Woo-hoo!!! It may never happen again, but it was a nice, quiet, peaceful hour of coloring :)All thanks to Halloween Piglet!
