Back to the Manger

Well, we've been working so hard to get ready for our Christmas Musical and it was great! The kids did an awesome job! We traveled back in time to Christmas throughout the decades and it was so much fun! Chloe and Hayden were in the 50s group and it was just precious. Hayden also got to be Joseph in the nativity scene. I had a vision and you never know how it's going to turn out, but I was thrilled! It's all about the kids leading worship and they were a hit!

Slumber Party Bliss

Chloe has begged and begged for her first slumber party and Mommy finally gave in. We invited 10 little girls to come home from school with us and party all night! And that's exaclty what we did. We met at the park after school( with a few of our boy buddies) and had cupcakes. My idea and prayer was it might tire them out a bit ;) Well...it didn't! We headed home and played outside, played barbies, had pizza, made a scrapbook page for chloe, made jewelry, took a walk in the dark, had a dance party outside in the spotlight, played some more, decorated a letter for their wall, had cake, played, had more snacks, had a beauty bar and finally bedded down for popcorn and a movie!!!!!! Whew!

The last eye closed about midnight and I had the first sound at 5:45!!! We finished the party off with cinnamon rolls in the playhouse. Now...time for a nap! !

This is how Hayden enjoyed the party!

Fall Fun!

We had soooo many places to go this fall! So many places to wear our costumes and sooooo many places to get candy! Can it get any better? Hayden decided to be "Dark" Vader this year and Chloe was My Little Pony. She is having a harder time because she's in between so many things. We had a great time at the School Festival! We met up with Charlie, Will and Henry! Hayden spent the last month talking about the haunted house and he couldn't wait, but it was WAY more than we were ready for. He was terrified out of his mind and spent the next 2 nights sleeping in our room :)
Then we had our Church Trunk or Treat and met up with Kylie and Quinn. We played lots of games, got lots of candy and rode the hay-ride...more than once :)
Chloe and Hayden both got out early on Wednesday, so we headed to the Arboretum for some more pumpkins! They weren't as into it as years past and it made me a bit sad...they are growing up so fast!
Last was our annual Halloween Party at our house. All our friends came for the group picture, then we had snacks and headed out to take over the neighborhood! We made our way to Elvis and back home to hand out the mass baskets of candy. Now, Hayden will begin the countdown to next Halloween :)

Hall Ball!!!

The best things in life are the ones we create together.  Hayden and I were bored one day and he was wanting to play war with the plastic balls...that's not my favorite thing...so we got creative and created HALL BALL.  This has become a highlight of Friday nights at home in our family.  It's special, no one else has it but us and we love spending time together!

State Fair

There's nothing much better than being outside on a fall day with a corny dog in one hand and cotton candy in the other! Not to mention rides :) We love going to the state fair and love meeting mimi and bopaw there. Not sure if all kids like the auto show...but ours love it! So...we don't spend the whole time on the mid-way!
We talked Chloe into a few more rides this year!
We even had time for a backyard circus!

Bend it Like Hayden!

Wow! Hayden came out kicking this year! He's been timid at times in the past but not this year. He loves loves loves soccer because you're moving all the time! He is on the Incredibles with Will and Ross so he's thrilled :) They started the year off slow but started pulling together and winning! Hayden is going to be the type who loves all sports but the more you move...the better!
