Hayden had his first soccer game today. Lots of our friends and neighbors are on our team and what a line up we have! We do lose interest from time to time and we get sidetracked easily but oh what fun! His best buddy Ross is on our team and it's tempting to wrestle, play in the dirt and chase each other while "the game" is going on...bu once I bribed Hayden with a sucker he went out and kicked a goal!!! Woohoo :)

Grandparents Day

Wednesday was Grandparents Day at Chloe's Kindergarten and boy was she excited. Mimi, Bopaw and Papa came to spend the night Tuesday night. I think it was probably 11:00 before Chloe and Hayden finally settled down and went to sleep. We headed to school the next morning for breakfast. We served muffins, juice and coffee. Chloe had cards and pictures for everyone. They went to the book fair and bought books, toured the school and visited her classroom. She was all smiles!

Spring Break

We had a great Spring Break week! The weather was beautiful and we spent a lot of time outside. We went to a hotel the first weekend and went to the zoo. We swam and swam and swam. We began the week at Mimi and Bopaw's lake. We rode our skooters and took a long adventure walk. We rode in the boat and Uncle Brad even let us drive! We finished the night with hamburgers and hot dogs before we headed home. We went to the movies, the park and Rainforest Cafe. We spent a day at Bobba and Pawpaw's house and had so much fun. We finished our week at Papa's house with a fish fry! What a great week!

Mardi Gras Parade

Chloe's kindergarten had a Mardi Gras Parade. Each class chose a king and queen. Chloe and Connor were chosen for our class :) They made shoe box floats and walked the halls throwing beads and candy.

Texas Day!!! Yeehaw

Today was Texas Day at Friendship School. Hayden wouldn't even consider wearing anything other than his cowboy costume :)
