Today was a day to celebrate a sweet friendship and to say good-bye for a little while. Chloe's best little friend Natalie is moving to Alabama in a few days and we thought it would be great fun to take a day to have some girl fun! They have been friends in Sunday School and everything else since they were born. I said "yes" to almost everything and we made our way all over Dallas doing whatever they wanted! (and spending ALL of Daddy's $) We made our first stop at Build-a-Bear and they each picked their favorite. We even recorded each other's voice to play in their bear any time they were missing each other. When we told the girl who was helping us our story, she even threw in a cell phone for free! We ate a yummy lunch and headed across the street to ToysRUs where they each picked a small prize and we did a little bday shopping for the brother! We headed to Frisco mall where we hit the Disney store, Justice, book store, Dave and Busters, Pottery Barn Kids, play area and of course, the carousel. They wanted to eat dinner at Cheesecake Factory so of course we did! We finished the meal with cookies and cream cheesecake and headed home. I surprised them with a sleepover and they watched a movie and crashed. They even let Hayden join in on the fun...What a great day! We are going to miss her so much but look forward to her phone calls, letters and visits! 
What a fun day! I can't believe my baby is 4 already!!! He woke up to waffles with sprinkles. Chloe lit the candles and he was so excited. She gave him her present early which was an iron man he's been eyeing! I've been promising Splash Kingdom, so we packed up and headed out. He and Chloe decided they wanted to ride the big slides this year and since Daddy wasn't with us I could only ride with one. Chloe said she was fine going by herself...such a big girl! Hayden learned he could touch almost everywhere. That really showed us how much he grew in a year! We came home, rested a bit and then got right on that bday dinner. You never know what Hayden's going to ask for but this year was no surprise. He requested meatballs with a little noodles from Napolis and I was happy to place that order! (Splash Kingdom wore me out ;) Daddy came home and he got his big present. A Spiderman Bike! Wowee! We rode up the hill and played with our buddies til dark. His party isn't until next week, so there will be more fun to come...What a super day! Happy Birthday my sweet boy!
Well...we went for our dentist visits and was not expecting the news we got. She said the tooth that Hayden cracked last summer was not healing well and needed to come out...oh man! Mama was worried and Hayden was thrilled! So we made an appt and headed to Rockwall early Monday am. He did great! He was such a big boy. They gave him medicine to make him sleepy and then a little silly gas :) He didn't even know when they pulled it, BUT when he was coming out of "silliness", he was like a rabid dog! He was mean and MAD! That only lasted for a little while but Mama was sure glad when he was back to normal! We were getting ready for bed and getting our tooth fairy pouch under the pillow and ready. Hayden said "mommy, is that fairy going to come right here???" I asked if he'd rather put the tooth on the night stand and he was very quick to agree. So, the tooth fairy brought him 8 shiny quarters on the night stand. He was pretty sure he saw her sprinkle fairy dust in the night and he said he talked to her a little while. Now, what to do with all that money????
