Hot Springs 2011

We got to go back to Hot Springs this year with our Arkansas Buddies! The kids were soooooo excited to see Avery and Aidan again. We swam, swam, swam and swam some more...played, played, played...and played some more! The kids did great together and had the best time! The boys spent hours playing legos and the girls played barbies. Can't wait to go back next year!!

Friend Reunion!

The Housers are back in town and we planned a play day with all of our friends! We headed to their Mimi's lakehouse ready to swim and play on the water slide. The kids had a great time and after they played their hearts out, we ended up on the couches watching movies and eating pizza. We miss them so much but love when they come for a visit :)

Best Buddies

Tyler and Dylan came for a visit and we took full advantage of it! We miss them so much. Hayden had it all planned out...Legoland, Sea Life, Rainforest Cafe...we're going to just do it all...in one day :) And we did! They had the best time. We didn't say no to much and they were in little boy heaven. Then to top it off Mommy suggested that Tyler come for a sleepover! Does it get any better? Well, they could move to Texas!

My Baby is 5!!

I absolutely cannot believe that my baby is 5 today! It just goes way too fast :( BUT we are taking advantage of our free day and heading to Lego Land and Rainforest Cafe! He is sooooo excited. Legoland was super fun. There were 2 rides, lots of legos to build with and 4D movies where it actually snowed! We enjoyed a yummy lunch at Rainforest Cafe and even had a Volcano birthday dessert!





After we got home, we requested Frito Pie with Daddy for dinner and wanted to wash the car! Simple man :)

Happy #5Hayden...All Things Creepy!

Hayden loves, loves, loves snakes, bugs, lizards...and spiders! Pretty much anything creepy :) So, it was only fitting that he have a buggy birthday! He wanted to have it at Mimi's beach this year. We weren't sure how many of our friends could come that far...but they all did! We have such great friends. We all loaded up and headed to Hideaway ready to party. We had hotdogs and snake cupcakes. Despite the crazy heat (which melted all our gummy snakes and worms...AND cupcakes) , he had a great bday. He said "this was the best birthday ever!!" The only dissapointment was he didn't get a snake...he really thought he was getting a python...I'm not that cool :(<

4th of July!

We spent time at Papa's with all our family. Everyone was there. We got to see baby Avery again and had the best time swimming, cooking out and ....Homemade ice-cream!!

We had the best time this year! We finally got to be in the boat parade...yippee!! It was hot and we weren't expecting it to last an hour but we loved it! The theme was Support our Military so we made signs that said "We Love Our Troops" and we chanted "U-S-A". The best surprise is...we won 3rd Place!!!!! Woohoo!
